QUANTIFISENS - a regional alliance of industry and research - aims to build a 'quantum-inspired, omnifunctional fiber sensor platform' to provide customized, fully integrated sensor solutions for a wide range of applications in different markets and to enable long-term developments in quantum technologies for a sustainable innovation leap in fiber sensor technology.

To this end, we are com­bi­ning our strengths in fiber optic sen­sor tech­no­lo­gy, new quan­tum tech­no­lo­gy con­cepts and inno­va­ti­ve soft­ware for data acqui­si­ti­on and analysis.

Our goal is to solve com­plex pro­blems e.g. from medi­ci­ne, envi­ron­ment or infra­struc­tu­re moni­to­ring. Learn more «

The pro­ject was sel­ec­ted for the con­cept phase within the BMBF fun­ding pro­gram ›RUBIN‹ in May 2020. A decis­i­on on fun­ding for a three-year imple­men­ta­ti­on phase will be made in June 2021.
